Instruction for the presenters:

Each presenter will be allowed to screen 5-7 slides (1 title and closing slide + 5 content slides) and speak for 5 minutes, following which 2 minutes will be allotted for Q&A. Adherence to the timing of the presentation will be one of the judging criteria. Please ensure that within your slides you maximise using visuals (i.e. photos, and graphics rather than heavy text).

Please prepare and rehearse carefully to ensure you complete the presentation within 5 minutes and that you have concluded/impacted within your time limit.

The Session chairs have been instructed to be strict on time limits and will invite the audience to connect with you after the session if time permits.

In addition to the above, keep the poster ready with the given format below,

o Format: 1-page single slide PPT/PDF file in 16:9, Maximum 150 Mb, Number of slides: 1, Font: common (Calibri, Arial etc., Font size: Min 12).

o No videos or animation. Insert HD pictures, and make sure your graphics and tables are readable.

o The dimensions for the Poster should be Horizontal (16:9 ratio).

o Please load your E-poster with the AV resource person.

o Please insert your abstract number in the poster.

Important Guidelines:

Your presentation duration should not exceed 8 minutes. (Adherence to time would be one of the criteria for judging)

If you will present slides, please note that your presentation must be in PowerPoint 16:9 Landscape (horizontal) (*.ppt or *.pptx). PDF is not accepted, and Keynote, Open Office and Prezi are not supported.

We encourage you to use the standard templates that are available. You can modify the template by adding your organisation logo and background graphics. We highly recommend limiting the number of slides and avoiding text-heavy slides.

Your presentation must include the following elements:

o Your presentation should reflect the content of the original submission

o Title and author name on the first slide

o Followed by a slide for disclosure of any Conflicts of Interest that could affect your presentation.

Important Guidelines for Video Award Presentation

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE VIDEO FILE ARE AS FOLLOWS:

o File format: Mp4

o Duration: Maximum 8 minutes

o The 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio is preferred. Please edit in the native format if you can. 4:3 is acceptable. However, please do not “stretch” your video.

o The maximum video size should not exceed 1.5 GB.

o Patient Privacy: Identifying information, including patients' names, initials, or hospital numbers, must not appear. Written consent must be obtained from each person appearing in the work.

It is recommended/preferable that the videos be self-explanatory with a voice-over in the background and no subtitles.

The Video should open with a title and listing of authors. It is recommended that a short title and operating surgeon/institution be noted at the bottom of the video throughout its length, to ensure continuity.
