Interventional Radiology Hands-on
Training Workshop

FHNO 2024 announces a unique focused hands-on training opportunity in Interventional Radiology. The course will be a combination of interactive lectures and intensive hands-on training on Ultrasonography guided interventions in head and neck. This course can be considered as a first step for training of radiologists in interventional radiology for the management of head neck neoplasms. At the completion of the course, one should have a fair idea in various techniques required for the diagnosis and interventional management of these lesions.

Total participants: 40

Expert-Led Lectures: 30 mins

Session 1 : Diagnostic USG with role of FNAC in thyroid neoplasms.
Session 2 : Various methods of thyroid ablation like Radiofrequency ablation, Microwave ablation etc.
Session 3 : Role of IR guided PEG insertion.
